A Redditch-based entrepreneur has been named as Digital Entrepreneur of the Year at the national Digital Women Awards.

Steph Middleton-Foster, founder of ConfigureMeThis.com, scooped the prize at an evening to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in the digital sector and beyond.

The annual event celebrates women working in and around digital and digital-based businesses who are doing the most incredible work in their respective industries.

ConfigureMeThis.com was born out of a Pandemic “pivot”, when Steph’s core VA services business needed to reconfigure its own offering and is an automation systems specialist for businesses seeking to harness the power of digital.

Crucially, ConfigureMeThis.com allows clients to do this without the “wasted” hours of manual configuration, onboarding and set-up, by aligning with ready-to-roll software that seamlessly solves the business challenges at hand

As well as triumphing in the Entrepreneur category, Steph was also a finalist for Digital Innovator of the Year and Digital Woman of the Year and listed in the top 70 Digital Women to Watch list.

The awards’ mission is to provide a supportive platform where women can access valuable content, share their stories, and connect with like-minded individuals to navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities that come with living and working in the digital age.

The awards are open to any woman working in and around digital and entrepreneurship who has gone over and above in their field and 2023 was a bumper year for entries.

Speaking about her win, Steph said;

‘I am passionate about levelling the playing field for small businesses and ensuring every business is embracing digital but this isn't just my award — I want to shout out to the amazing team at Configure Me This, who are obsessed with everything no-code & automation!

‘Their energy and enthusiasm for continuously finding new ways to support small businesses to streamline and grow is what makes our team unique and in turn allows me to be the best entrepreneur I can be.

‘It was also inspiring to meet so many other women who are all thriving in the digital space. We know there's still work to be done to level the playing field for women in tech and digital, but events like #DigitalWomenAwards23 show just how much talent there is out there. It paves the way for future generations to consider a digital career where the only thing that matters is your passion and skill, not gender.’
