London, September 2018:

Andersen (andersen-ev.com), UK based innovative makers of stylish, high-performance electric vehicle charge points today are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Willcox as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Paul Willcox was Chairman of Nissan Europe up until his recent departure in March 2018 and worked at Nissan for 26 years. During his career at Nissan, Willcox served as the head of the automaker’s UK and led European sales and marketing. Importantly he oversaw the introduction of the Nissan Leaf and eNV200 EV vehicles into the European market as well as expanding the product portfolio beyond to include X-Storage and V2G products through a broader based EV Business Unit.

Commenting on this appointment Jerome Faissat, CEO of Andersen, said:- ‘I am delighted to announce that Paul is joining us on a monthly basis. Paul obviously has a deep understanding of the automotive industry and the future electric vehicle boom. This will be invaluable in helping us take Andersen to the next stage in our strategy to become the leading global brand within the EV charging sector.’

Willcox adds, ‘As a Non-Executive Director I will be well placed to provide the external challenge to the business and provide insight into the automotive sector for the Andersen management team. Andersen is a company that has very strong understanding of technology and design. Consumers are aspirational and therefore want to understand how a charger fits their needs and more importantly into the future how their needs will change and Andersen are well suited to take that opportunity.’
