TAIPEI (April 10, 2024) Acer today announced the new Nitro 14 gaming laptop, powered by AMD Ryzen 8040 Series processors with Ryzen AI[ ]. With up to NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 4060[ ] Laptop GPUs supported by DLSS 3.5 technology, is backed by NVIDIA’s RTX AI platform, providing an array of capabilities in over 500 games and applications, enhanced by AI.
Gamers are immersed in its 14-inch NVIDIA G-SYNC® compatible panel with up to WQXGA (2560x1600) resolution.
Whether incall or streaming in-game, Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 harnesses the power of AI to block out external noises, while Acer PurifiedView keeps users always front and centre of all the action. Microsoft Copilot in Windows[ ] (with a dedicated Copilot key) helps accelerate everyday tasks on these AI laptops, and with one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate included with every device, players will enjoy hundreds of high-quality PC games. To seamlessly take command of device performance and customizations, one click of the NitroSense key directs users to the control centre and the library of available AI-related functions through the new Experience Zone.

Acer Nitro 14: A Balance of Performance, Portability, and Affordability
The new Nitro 14 (AN14-41) combines a sleek design and powerhouse components in a compact form factor, equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor[2] with Ryzen AI built-in and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060[2] Laptop GPU with DLSS 3.5 technology for stunning visuals and higher frame rates. Users can also tap into the NVIDIA RTX AI ecosystem of computing, gaming capabilities, and accelerations, and utilize RTX Video that delivers AI upscaling and HDR visual quality. Flawless frames and colour quality are achieved on its 14-inch WQXGA (2560x1600) display with 120 Hz refresh rate, 9 ms response time, and sRGB 100% gamut support.

A dual-fan system with Vortex Flow consistently draws in air into the device from both the top and bottom sides of the fans, and thus creates an aerodynamic flow that enhances cooling for the CPU, GPU, and crucial components, while the heat conductivity of liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU keep the Nitro laptop ready for anything. It also comes with a generous offer of vital connectivity features including full-function USB 4 and USB 3.2 Type C ports, dual Type-A ports (one with offline charging), HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader.

Amazing sound fidelity is produced when gaming and communicating with DTS: X® Ultra Audio, plus Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0, paired with a three-microphone design and beamforming, isolates users’ voices and eradicates unwanted background noise. Its HD webcam utilizes the AI-powered Acer PurifiedView to optimize video calls. Power is granted to users through the NitroSense application, allowing them to tailor the laptops’ game and performance settings, and fan speeds, customize the 4-zone RGB keyboard lighting, and dive into the new Experience Zone that contains information for all the Nitro laptop’s AI-related features.

Price and Availability
The Acer Nitro 14 (AN14-41) will be available in North America in May, starting at USD 1,299.99, and in EMEA in June, starting at EUR 1,199. UK pricing starts from £1099 up to £1399.
