Body Fit Training (BFT) – one of the globe’s fastest-growing fitness franchises – is continuing its expansion across London this autumn with the launch of BFT Streatham on Saturday 8th November. Following the success of BFT Battersea, which opened in early 2023, owner Lauren Hendrie is bringing BFT’s group strength-training programmes proven to provide positive outcomes for all fitness levels to a new studio in Streatham.

With BFT Battersea thriving and growing a reputation for elite coaching and unrivalled community spirit, the team are confident that BFT Streatham will continue BFT’s mission to elevate the standards of group fitness in London.

When Lauren launched BFT Battersea in February 2023, she was the first BFT franchisees in London – quickly proving what’s possible with an elite coaching experience, programmes backed by science and hard work. The studio’s success has been built on exceptional coaching, personal connection and a strong community culture.

For Lauren, “Opening Battersea has been such a rewarding journey. We wanted to create a space where people genuinely look forward to training! Seeing how the community has grown has been incredible and made us even more excited to keep building.

“We also took the time to let BFT Battersea mature before expanding, and now the timing feels perfect. We’ve learnt a lot from the experience so far, and we’ll be incorporating the lessons we’ve learnt into our Streatham studio.”

With a five-studio agreement already in place, the team are setting the standard for how BFT franchisees can provide a superior personal training experience in a group setting.

For Lauren, Streatham was an obvious choice. “We know and love the area – it’s well connected with lots of families seeking a new way of training that is results driven. The BFT model is ideal for working professionals and parents who have limited time each day to train.”

The new studio will feature a smaller session capacity (24 members per class) – a setup designed to suit Streatham’s demographics and offer a more personal experience.

“The studio design is clean and modern with all new equipment and technology,” added Lauren. “It’s a gym where you know everyone’s name, where our coaches will push you to progress and you’ll feel supported. You’re guaranteed to fall in love with training, we always create awesome vibes and personalised experience for our members”

For BFT’s founder, Cameron Falloon, Lauren has been a trailblazer for the brand in the UK. “Lauren was the first to take the brand to London and have set the benchmark for what success looks like.

“What’s really impressive is their commitment to do things the right way! Lauren invests in people, and the results speak for themselves. Battersea is a real community hub, and I have no doubt Streatham will follow the same path.”
