The Profs Tutors have once again set a benchmark for higher education success, with new figures from the 2025 Client Feedback Survey showing that students at undergraduate and postgraduate level achieved significant grade improvements and record admissions outcomes.

Among undergraduates, 93% improved their grades, with an average uplift of +1.2 grades. Notably, 57% graduated with a first-class degree, compared with just 3% who were on track for a first before working with The Profs. Progression gains were equally striking: 94% of undergraduates moved from a 2.2 to a 2.1, while 85% advanced from a 2.1 to a first.

“These results demonstrate the transformative impact of sustained, personalised academic support,” said Dr. Leo Evans, CEO of

The Profs Group. “Our tutors help students move beyond their starting point, building both the knowledge and the confidence to achieve results that once felt out of reach.”

University Admissions Success

The Profs’ track record in university admissions also reached new highs in 2025. 99% of undergraduate applicants received offers from their first or second-choice universities, while 89% of postgraduate applicants secured places at their preferred institution.
The company also reported a 66% Oxbridge acceptance rate—over three times the national average—highlighting the effectiveness of its admissions support and the expertise of its tutor network.

“We’re immensely proud to guide students through some of the most competitive admissions processes in the world,” said Richard Evans, Founder of The Profs. “Our tutors, many of whom are Oxbridge graduates themselves, understand the rigour and expectations, and help applicants put their best selves forward.”

Award-Winning Excellence

The Profs’ achievements build on a decade of innovation in online higher education tutoring. Its network of elite tutors—98% of whom hold postgraduate qualifications, and 41% doctorates—is among the most selective in the industry, with an acceptance rate of just 3%.

The Profs was named ‘Private Tutoring Provider of the Year’ (2025) and ‘Ed Tech Provider of the Year’ (2024), adding to a suite of more than 13 national awards. The company also continues to hold a 4.9-star Trustpilot rating, maintained over nine consecutive years.
