What impact does “levelling up” and investment look like within black entrepreneurship?
The UK Black Entrepreneurs Conference has announced that Eric Collins, more recently dubbed the Money Maker, will be a keynote speaker at the inaugural event. This follows the publication of The Black Entrepreneurs Report 2021, which provides a contemporary insight into black entrepreneurship within the UK. The Black Business Association (BBA) and MSDUK have commended this report and have decided to become co-partners of the conference.
London-based Eric Collins is a serial entrepreneur, who was appointed by President Obama to the Small Business Administration’s Council on Underserved Communities, but additionally is an investor, technology executive, and host of Channel 4 business show, The Money Maker, which sees him offer both his expertise and capital investment to British businesses, all hoping to turnaround their fortunes and secure their future.
Eric has spent much of his career building the value of digital companies through innovative strategies at public and private companies including AOL, TimeWarner, Tegic/Nuance Communications, MobilePosse, SwiftKey/Microsoft, and most recently, Touch Surgery, where he was COO. Eric’s talk will provide insight into access to finance, securing investment, investing in people, and the social impact and responsibility of successful businesses.
The event will take place on Thursday, 14th July 2022 at NatWest Conference Centre, 250 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 4AA
