Rising from the ashes after financial struggles in the early stages of the COVID pandemic, Tricres Ltd has announced it is planning an expansion into the USA after strengthening its brand and reassessing its business model with the Kick Ass Culture Coach and Consulting Programme.
This latest development comes after a tricky few years for the SME. Despite a promising start in 2019, the company's original online business courses attracted zero interest during lockdowns, even when they were being given away for free. As such, CEO Rebecca Bonnington and her brother decided to start a small pilot scheme whereby they trained other business consultants and coaches in their own methodologies.
They soon realised they had a much more saleable, scalable product, which represented a huge shift away from their original goals. Rebecca said: "We've pivoted the business so much, I feel dizzy. The Kick Ass Culture Coach and Consulting Programme gives aspiring business coaches and consultants the methodology, content, sales process and leads they need to succeed."
The organisation has 6 fully qualified partners in Switzerland, the UK and the USA, with 5 new partners currently going through the Kick Ass Culture Coach and Consulting Programme. They hope to be able to tap into their existing partners to help them open up a company in the US. A new non-executive chair was also hired over the summer to help strengthen board decisions and keep the family business on track.
Rebecca added: "Business consulting is dull, uninspiring and a bit bland, so we want to disrupt the sector and make it accessible to more people. Success for us is to have someone sitting on the side of a hill in Nepal using our content to build and scale their business."
